I use a Industry Standard (Stylus) Pen Brush on Wacom Digital Pad to create nice and appealing designs. I bind the letters neatly and use superficial ligatures for the designs. 

Certain times, I use traditional Paper, pen. Then vectorize and send the output to you :)
